LEH, June 1: Principal Sessions Judge (Special Judge) Leh Manoj Parihar has awarded 12 years Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) to a resident of Kullu (Himachal Pradesh), who was held with over 8 kilograms of charas, and imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on him.
The accused Dhoni Chand, son of Chittar Dev of Kullu, Himachal Pradesh was nabbed with charas when he was driving vehicle from Manali to Leh. The prosecution was led by Nawang Nurbu, Assistant Public Prosecutor Leh.
