REASI, June 4: At least a dozen persons were injured when a vehicle met with an accident in Jyotipuram area of Reasi district today.
Official sources said that a Mahindra Bolero Pickup vehicle, bearing registration number JK20B-9016 met with a tragic accident near the check post at Jyotipuram in Reasi district on Wednesday. The vehicle was coming from Dugga when it skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge near Jyotipuram, resulting in injuries to 12 persons.
Locals, along with police, rushed to the spot and immediately shifted the injured to District Hospital (DH) Reasi. However, due to the severity of their injuries, three individuals were referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for advanced treatment.
The injured persons were identified as- Mohd Mushtaq (26 yrs), son of Bhadar Din, resident of Arbais, Mahore; Shamas Din (27 yrs), son of Sonaullah, from Badar, Mahore; Arshad Ahmed (20 yrs), son of Abdul Rashid, from Mahore, Mohd Iqbal (29 yrs), son of Ghulam Mohd, from Shibrass, Mahore; Mudasir Hussain (26 yrs), son of Shokit Ali, from Doda; Altaf Hussain (18 yrs), son of Gulam Mohd Din from Badar Mahore; . Altaf Hussain (18 yrs), son of Abdul Rashid, from Shibrass, Mahore; Manzoor Ahmed (34 yrs), son of Abdul, from Badar Mahore; Mohd Mubarak (17 yrs), son of Mohd Amin, from Mahu Badar Mahore, they all have been referred to Mahore. Abdul Rashid (33 yrs), son of Akbar, from Badar Mahore, reffered to GMC and Mohd Yousaf (45 years) son of Akbar, from Badar, age 45 reffered to GMC and Arshad Ali from Mahore.
