JAMMU, Jan 6: A 10th standard student ended his life by hanging from the ceiling fan at his residence here today, officials said.
Parnisht Sharma son of Sarveshwar Sharma was found hanging at his residence at Malhotra Street this morning, they said.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu where doctors declared him as dead on arrival, the official said.
While the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem examination police have initiated the inquest proceedings to further probe into the matter.
