100 days coalition

Sir,
This has reference to ‘100 days coalition’ by  Shiban Khaibri DE June 15 which made an interesting reading in respect of how to judge the new Government during its first 100 days in office. The writer has very correctly pointed out problems and issues of importance besides the unexpected reaction to a very bold step taken by this Government to get rid of the encroached forest land from the mafia in which big and small fish from influential sections from political, bureaucratic and even commercial sections are involved. This looks, very strange that instead of praising a good step to get back the precious forest land from illegal occupants, religious colour is given to the bold exercise. Have we, first to ascertain the religion and caste of a thief, a fraudulent, a corrupt before taking action against him under law. If a particular area with more cases of land grabbing is with a majority of a  certain section or religious group, how it be a case of discrimination? On the one hand, we cry action should be taken against the corrupt people but at the same time are not prepared to allow the elected Governments to go ahead. How can, therefore, like this corruption be fought or illegal grabbing of forest land, Government land etc be saved. The writer has also highlighted the continuous problem of digging everywhere in Jammu and the very bad conditions of roads, also about AIIMS and Tawi artificial lake. These issues need top attention of the coalition State Government.
Yours etc…
