JAMMU, Dec 20: Jammu Police seized 10 vehicles involved in illegal mining.
As per police sources, teams from Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO Inspector Mirza Sultan, Police Station Nagorta led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh, Police Station Gharota led by SHO Inspector Khyati Maan Khajuria, Police Post Bathindi led by PSI Mohd Ilyas, Police Post Talab Tillo led by PSI Rajesh Kumar, Police Post Phallain Mandal led by PSI Ajesh Singh Jamwal, Police Post Sainik Colony led by PSI Mohd Younis Khanday and Police Post Sidhra led by SI Shakil Ahmed raided different locations in their respective areas and seized 10 different vehicles involved in illegal mining.
DMO Jammu was also intimated about the same.
The mining was done in violation of order of High Court of J&K.
In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law, Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
