Devotional Song Competition

REASI, Oct 4: All India Devotional Song Competition being organized as part of Navratra festival entered fifth day.
After tough competition, participants Ridhima Vajpayee, Vikas Sharma, Aarshi Kalash, Reema, Banotra Brothers, Sapna Gupta, Sham Sajan, Diksha Raina, Aprana Rao and Anmol cleared the audition but all of a sudden rain and thunder storm started and as a result the competition has to be stopped mid way which will be along with preliminary round of 6th Navratra.
The competition auditions were adjudged by the panels of experts in music Prof Anupama Sharma, Lecturer Music Government Degree College Parade, Dr Surinder Kumar Sharma HoD Government Degree College Sunni Shimla and Dr CL Verma Ex-Chairman Post Graduate University of Himachal Pradesh.
Sunil Mattoo and Sonali Dogra were guest singers but could not sing. Now Sonali Dogra will sing in final to be held on October 7.
The grand finale of the Competition will be held on October 7 and winners will be awarded with gold amounting to Rs 3 lakh and a recording contract with Venus Records and Tapes Limited and likewise the runners ups will get gold worth Rs 1 lakh and Rs 50,000 respectively.
