JAMMU, Jan 11: The Central University of Jammu (CUJ) kicked off the 10-day “Yuva Shakti Mahotsav” at Malviya Shiksha Bhavan, organized by the Department of Educational Studies in collaboration with the Dean of Students Welfare. The event was inaugurated under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain.
Dr. Kiran, Convener of the Co-curricular Committee, outlined the program’s phases: Baahu Shakti, Mann Shakti, and Kala Shakti, which will culminate on January 26.
In the inaugural address, Prof. Uday Pratap Singh, Associate Dean Academics, emphasized the importance of innovation, skill-based education, and spiritual intelligence for youth empowerment. Prof. Ritu Bakshi, Dean Students Welfare, highlighted the role of youth in national development, urging them to channel their potential for progress. Prof. JN Baliya also stressed the significance of youth in shaping the future of the nation. The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Arvind Kumar.
