JAMMU, July 30: Chowki Choura police rescued 10 bovine animals and arrested the driver.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Chowki Choura Police Post led by SI Anchal Rana laid a naka and intercepted a Srinagar bound truck bearing registration number JK02AS-8717.
During checking, police team rescued 10 bovine animals from the vehicle and arrested the driver, who has been identified as Abdul Majeed, son of Abdul Ahad of Ward No 6 Tehsil Mandi District Poonch.
A case under FIR Number 170/19 under section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and investigation started.
