Srinagar, Jan 17: A woman was killed and three other were injured in different accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said a Tata Sumo, JK05D/4865, hit and injured a pedestrian Mehra Begum wife of Abdul Ahad Gooru of Naninari Sumbal at Naninari, Bandipora district. She was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries.
A motorcyclist and pillion rider were injured when a truck No. JK01/5190, hit their motorcycle, JK04A/3273, at Manasbal in Ganderbal district.
They were identified as the motorcyclist Aqib Ahmad Sofi son of Ghulam Ahmad and Gowher Ahmad Reshi son of Sonaullah of Gratbal, Ganderbal. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.
A pedestrian, Habibullah Hajam son of Abdul Karim of Surigam was injured when a Tata Sumo, JK09/4170, driven by Tariq Ahmad Lone son of Ghulam Ahmad Lone of Diver, Kupwara, on way from Kupwara to Sogam hit him at Putshie. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sogam for treatment.
