RAJOURI, Oct 7: One person hailing from Poonch was killed while three others were injured when a truck collided with two light motor vehicles in Heerpur area of Shopian on Mughal Road last mid night.
A police spokesman said that a truck bearing registration number JK-22/3819 hit Tata mobile No. JK02AR/ 5521 and mini-load carrier JK-18/1107 near Heerpur under Shopian Police jurisdiction last mid night . All the injured were rushed to Shopian hospital where one of them was declared as brought dead. He was identified as Mohd Ashiq (22), son of Abdul Rashid, resident of Khanetar in Poonch. His body was sent to his home village this afternoon after performing legal formalities by Shopian police.
