RAJOURI, Jan 4: One person was killed while another injured when a tractor trolley met with an accident near Bus Stand in Kalakote area this evening.
A police official said that the mishap took place just closer to Govt School, some distance away from local Bus Stand in Kalakote town late this evening. The victims identified as Vinnay Kumar (23), son of Rattan Lal, a resident of Upper Kalakote, and Neeraj Kumar (22), son of Mohinder Paul, a resident of Kalakote town, were seriously injured in the mishap.
Both the injured were immediately rushed to local hospital and after providing first- aid referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri. However, Vinnay Kumar succumbed to his injuries on the way and was declared brought dead at GMC Rajouri.
The other injured- Neeraj Kumar was stated to be undergoing treatment at GMC Rajouri, His condition is said to be stable now. The police have taken cognizance of the incident.
