REASI, Dec 17: One person died while five others injured in two separate road accidents in district Reasi since last night.
Official sources said that a bike bearing registration number JK02-BD/ 0960 was hit by an unknown vehicle on Kakryal- Domail road last night. One person namely Rakesh Singh, son of Pritam Singh, resident of Dansal, district Jammu was injured and admitted to Narayana Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Nirmala Devi 35, wife of Late Sohan Singh, resident of Dansal got serious injuries in the incident and was also shifted to Narayana hospital. The police has taken cognizance.
Meanwhile, a mini bus bearing registration number JK14-A 6519 met with an accident at Tali Morh on Reasi-Pouni road. As per the information, the mini bus which was going back from Katra towards Rajouri when reached near Tali Morh overturned on the road resulting into injuries to four Shri Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims.
The injured were identified as Meena Devi (age 21), wife of Bachan Singh; Ajay Kumar (27), son of Kamal Kumar; Ranjoo Devi (37) wife of Kuldeep and Sarika Devi (23), wife of Karan Singh, all residents of Bhanglar in tehsil Khwas in district Rajouri. They were shifted to DH Reasi for treatment.
