RAJOURI, Nov 5: One person was killed in a tractor accident in Thannamandi area of Rajouri while two others were injured in separate road accident in Poonch area today.
Reports said in a tragic road accident on Tuesday, Shoaib Khan, a 16-year-old resident of Bhateli, Thannamandi, lost his life. With critical injuries he was rushed to Thannamandi. Hospital, where Dr. Sagheer Anjum, Zonal Medical Officer (ZMO) declared him as brought dead.
Police has initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. .
Meanwhile, two persons sustained injuries when a load carrier met with an accident near Shahpur in Poonch.
Official sources said that the Auto loaded with some eatable items was on way to Shahpur side when it met with an accident. Two persons received minor injuries and were hospitalised. Both were stated to be stable.
They were identified as Mohd Shoket, son of Mohd Latief, a resident of Chella Dhangri in Mandi and Mohd Qasim, a resident of Hari, Surankote.
