JAMMU, Mar 26: Defeating Vijay Club by a solitary goal in the finals, Young Rovers won the title trophy of the Banarsi Dass Memorial Football Tournament at GGM Science College, here today.
The chief guest on the occasion was Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta, while MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta was the guest of honour.
Prominent among those who accompanied the chief guest and the guest of honour were Nirmolak Singh, SM Gill, Rakesh Khanna,Kamalpreet Singh, Satpal Kalsi,Mohan Lal, Bharat Bushan, Vishwamittar, Kamaljeet,Surjeet Singh, Rakesh Kumar, Fiestous Sohtra, Kuldeep Singhn, RK Kohli and Surinder Singh Bunty.
Both chief guest and the guest of honour spoke on the occasion and threw light on the importance of games and sports.
