Young Rovers, Shaheen FC script wins

JAMMU, Nov 29: Young Rovers and Shaheen Football Club registered resounding victories over their rivals in the ongoing 1st Mufti Mohammad Sayeed Memorial Gold Cup State League Football Tournament, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Football Association at GGM Science College Football ground, here.
Young Rovers defeated Jammu Sports by four goals to nil (4-0). The goals were scored by Abhimanyu, Vishal, Avinash and Rahul Ghai.
In another match, Shaheen FC trounced Churchill Brothers by two goals to nil (2-0). The first goal was scored by Aashish Mehra in 45th minute, while the second goal was netted by Vikash Sodhi in 60th minute.
The matches were officiated by Ricky Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Moon Stephen and Dil Bahadur, Koshal Kumar and Vijay Kumar.
Today’s matches were witnessed by  Zamir Thakur (President JKFA), Sheikh Mehmood, President DFA Jammu,  Iftikhar Lone (Owner of Lone Star), Narinder Gupta (Former Member Sports Council), Nazir Ahmed and  Fayaz Shah.
