Wrestler Munir of Panjgrain wins Shiba Kesri Dangal title

JAMMU, July 16: Defeating his rival Kalu of Bishnah in a tough main bout which lasted for 25 minutes, Wrestler Munir of Panjgrain clinched Shiba  Kesri Dangal title in the mega Wrestling event, organized by Shiba Dangal Committee under the overall supervision of its Chairman and former Serpanch Liaqat Ali at Shiba here today.
Forty five bouts were played during the event.
Rakesh Wazir, Senior Congress leader and President Hotel & Restaurant Association, Katra was chief guest, who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up Wrestlers on the occasion.
He also awarded the winners and runners-up wrestlers with cash prizes by in presence of Senior PDP leader Showkat Choudhary, Liaqat Ali, Sardar Khan and Rehmat Ali.
In the second main bout Sadiq of Jammu defeated Vijay of Bain Bajalta.
The 3rd bout was won by Salman of Udhampur by defeating Akram Jolly of Chowadhi.
The 4th bout was won by Sanjay from Pargwal by defeating Murad Ali. In other main bouts Arshad beat Liaqat Ali, Allah Rakha drubbed Bittu, Pawan Kumar trounced Roshan, Billu got the better of  Maseen.
Shiba Dangal Committee members and Technical officials who helped for conduct of the event were Liaqat Ali, Suraj Singh, Mushtaq Ahmed, Mangal Singh, Khalid Ali, Saif Ali, Som Dutt, Noor Alam, Veer Singh and Mukhtar.
Ch Fareed conducted the proceedings of the programme.
