JAMMU, Mar 18: V Sports Judo Centre was today inaugurated by the chief guest, Prem Singh, Special Assistant to HMOS at Orange Pre School, Durga Nagar, here under the aegis of J&K Judo Association.
On the occasion a Judo Competition was held in School premises in which a good number of judokas participated and got medals.
The Gold Medals were bagged by Ridhi Bhagat, Hansika, Askhita, Shikha, Aman, Anish Bhat and Swayam Ganjoo, while the Silver Medals went to Mehak Koul, Lavanya Koul, Mannat Ganjoo, Ruchi, Advik, Ayush Koul and Veer Vansh and the Bronze Medals were claimed by Prekesha Kow, Brivik, Satykis, Udheyveer, Veer Vansh and Rishat.
Vikas Gupta, Joint Secretary Judo Federation; Gul-e-Shukrab, International Player and Atul Sharma were the guests of honour.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Senior Judo coaches Arshi Nad, Ritika Slathia, Romeshwar Singh Jamwal and Senior Judo Coaches Suraj Sharma, Rohit Sadotra, Archana and Reva.
The Judo centre will runn under the guidance of Judo Instructor, Manish Chatwal.
