STC, KCI, APS Ratnuchak in semis

JAMMU, Oct 23: Semifinal line up was drawn in the ongoing District Youth Basketball Championship being played at MA Stadium here.
STC warriors will meet STC Terriers while Army School Ratnuchak will meet KC international tomorrow.
Earlier, STC warriors beat KC International and APS Ratnuchak beat APS Nagrota in their last pool outings.
Six matches were played on the second day of the tournament.
In the first match of the day, STC Terriers beat APS Nagrota 31-14.
In the second match, STC warriors crushed JP world 49-08. Gourav Rajwal scored 13 points for the winners.
In the third match of the day, APS Ratnuchak beat Jammu district 41-28, with Hritik Choudhary top scoring for the winners with 12 points.
In the fourth match, JP world school beat KV no. 2 by 36-16. Aditya Rajrah scored 13 points for the winners.
In the fifth match STC displayed superb defensive tactics to beat KCI convincingly. In the last match, APS Ratnuchak again defeated APS Nagrota to enter into semis.
The Championship is being organized by the J&K Basketball Association and the matches were officiated by a panel of JKBA referees including Ranbir Singh, Mousmi Verma, Rajesh Bandral, Vaneet Pangotra, Rajesh Bhagat, Abhishek, Shubham Sharma and  Shubham Bhardwaj.
