Sanand, Ansh, Standin, Basit enter semis in State Junior Billiards

JAMMU, Oct 24: Arjun Singh outclassed Vipin Malhi by 3-0 and clinched the title of the State Junior Snooker Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association, at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here today. Arjun registered win over Vipin by frame score of 55-19, 60-22 and 61-37.
Meanwhile, Sanand Sharma, Ansh Chopra, Standin and Basit Wani crushed rivals and registered berth in the semis of the ongoing State Junior Billiards at same venue.
Earlier in the first quarterfinal Sanand Sharma defeated Amn Choudhary by 2-0, whereas in second quarterfinal, Ansh Chopra registered win over Vipin Malhi by 2-1.
In the third quarterfinal, Standin beat Samarth Amla by 2-0 and in the last quarterfinal, Basit Wani registered win over Danish Gupta by 2-1.
The matches were being held under strict supervision of the JKBSA members and played with the rules and regulations of Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI).
The matches were officiated by Rakesh Sharma, Pawan Khajuria and Ashok.
