JAMMU, Oct 25: Powerlifter Rajan Jain from J&K Sports Powerlifting Association bought laurels to Jammu and Kashmir State by winning 5 medals in 6 consecutive World Powerlifting Championships.
He won World Equipped Powerlifting Championship gold medal, World Equipped Deadlift Powerlifting Championship (silver), World Unequipped Deadlift Powerliting Championship (silver), World Equipped Open Bench-Press Powerlifting Championship (bronze) and World Unequipped Bench-Press Powerlifting Championship (bronze).
Indian Powerlifting Federation has congratulated Mr Jain S/o Rakesh Jain for creating history in the World Powerlifting Championships held at Las Vegas in (USA) recently.
