SRINAGAR, Mar 2: Under the Civic Action Programme (CAP), Police organized a sports event in the playground of Baba Atomic Research Centre maintained by 115 Battalion CRPF in Burzahama, here today.
A Police spokesman said the aim of the event is to impart and inculcate the sense of discipline among the participants.
He said SDPO Zakoora, Sajad Ahmad Malik accompanied by SHO Zakoora, R P Singh inaugurated the event in which local youth & students of Burzhama and adjacent villages participated.
“The participants showed overwhelming response during the event. Games including Volleyball, Badminton and Carrom were played and the winners of the event were suitably awarded,” he said.
