Udhampur, Feb 8: Udhampur Police today kick started the badminton tournament at Badminton Hall Mini Stadium town hall Udhampur which is being organized as part of the sports fest Udhampur Olympics. The first exhibition match was inaugurated by Sh. Shailendra Mishra, IPS SSP Udhampur.
About 84 qualifier Badminton matches of boys and girls in under 14 were played today. Number of Police and district administration officers besides players and prominent citizens of Udhampur town witnessed the matches with great zeal and enthusiasm. The matches were officiated by the officials of department of Youth services and Sports.
