JAMMU, Oct 14: A district level patriotic group song competition was organised by Sainik Welfare Society in collaboration with All J&K Academy of Art Culture and Languages in the premises of GHSS Udhampur, here today.
Principal DIET Kud Tarseem Lal was the chief guest, while District Education Planning Officer JM Tharmatt, Principal GHSS Khoon Dharampaul Sharma and retired Principal Devraj Gupta father of martyr captain Tushar Mahajan were the guests of honour.
About 170 students from different schools of district udhampur participated in the competition.
Main attraction of the competition was a patriotic song written, composed and prepared by Hushiar Singh teacher GHS Sundla Zone Babey, dedicated to the Marty captain Tushar Mahajan who sacrificed his life while fighting for the nation at Pampore in Kashmir on
February 21, 2016, while the students of GHS Kawa and GHSS Udhampur got second & third prize respectively.
