JAMMU, Sept 28: One Act play, competition was held today at ‘Display Your Talent-2017-18’ organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here. Prof Satnam Kour, Dean Students Welfare, Prof SK Pandita, Chairman Campus Cultural
Committee, Prof Kamal Kapoor, Co-Chairman Campus Cultural Committee, Dr Anupama Vohra, Associate Dean (SW), Dr AR Manhas, Assistant Dean (SW), faculty members, teachers in-charge of the colleges, students and scholars were present during the event.
In One Act Play, the team of GCW Gandhi Nagar was declared first, while GCW Parade won the second spot and GDC Kathua secured third position.
In Individual category, the best actor/actress awards were awarded to Neerja Bharti from GCW Gandhi Nagar as first, while Pallavi Sareen from GCW Parade and Gauri Thakur from GCW Gandhi Nagar secured second position and the third position was shared by Pragya and Manmeet Kour from GCW, Parade and Ankit Sharma from SPMR College of Commerce.
Suresh Sharma, Chakresh Kumar and Krishan were the Judges and Dr. Jaspal Singh was the Teacher In-charge of the event.
The event was coordinated by Sumeet Sharma (Drama Instructor). Divya Sharma, Kanika Sharma, Anjali Sharma, Mohit Mahajan, Hempreet Kour, Avinash Lakhnotra, Diksha Andotra and Namrta Chib did the Hall Management. The sound was operated by Kulbhushan Thakur.
