BUDGAM, May 13: Defeating Khonmov XI convincingly by 6 wickets in the semifinals, MLA XI Budgam sealed berth in the ongoing Budgam Premier League, being organized at Sports Stadium, here.
Earlier, winning the toss and bating first, Khonmov XI scored a decent total of 152 runs in the stipulated 20 overs, losing 9 wickets in the process.
In reply, MLA XI Budgam achieved the target in 18 overs by losing 4 wickets, thus won the match by 6 wickets. Farooz Ahmad was the top scorer with 55 runs, while Manzoor Dar scored 20 runs and took 2 important wickets. However, Waseem Raza, for scoring valuable 35 runs and taking 3 important wickets was adjudged as man of the match.
