JAMMU, July 1: Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA) outclassed Colonel Chopra Cricket Academy (CCCA) in the league match today by 9 wickets and registered berth in the next stage of the ongoing Chevrolet Cricket Cup, being played at KC Public School cricket ground here.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, CCCA scored paltry 74 runs in 20 overs. Deepak and Harsh Dev scored 25 and 12 runs respectively.
From MGCA side, Sampark was the pick of the bowler with 4 wickets, whileas Rocky scalped 2 wickets.
In the second inning, MGCA chased the target in 11.1 over for the loss of just 1 wicket. Surya was highest scorer with 41 runs and Subrat made 18 runs.
From CCCA side, Deepak took 1 wicket.
Sampark of MGCA was declared as man of the match and was awarded with Westside coupon worth Rs 500.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Abhijot Singh as umpires, whereas Honey Chib maintained the scorecard.
