Kindergarten of Heritage School Jammu celebrates Sports Day

JAMMU, Feb 25: Gummy Bears, Heritage School, Jammu celebrated Annual Sports Day ‘Fitness Trail’ amidst great verve and camaraderie, here today.
Babila Rakwal, Director School Education, Jammu, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
Nirmal Gupta, Founder Trustee, Heritage School, Sunita Gupta, Chairperson media, grandparents and parents added vim and vigour to the day with their magnanimous presence.
The chief guest and the other dignitaries were welcomed with colourful bouquets. This was entailed by the lighting of the flame, to mark the expression of joy and commitment to sports and the declaration of the Meet open by the Chief Guest.
The students took a pledge to abide by the rules of the games in true sportsman spirit.
The welcome dance rendered the spectators speechless and awestruck. The students displayed a wide array of colourful and reverberant events such as yoga, aerobics, races, drills and dances.
They mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances. Some races saw the participation of grandparents along with toddlers.
Earlier, Anita Mishra, Coordinator, Kindergarten, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries. A spectacular and impressive prize giving ceremony was held where the All-Rounders, winners of races and students with cent percent attendance were awarded for their feat.
The most intriguing aspect embellishing the event-The Grand Finale, was a splendid field display, involving mass student participation, which spread colour and vibrancy on the field.
The Chief Guest, in her address lauded the event and stated that it was a splendid day and appreciated the pains and efforts taken by teachers and students for such flawless presentation.
The vote of thanks was presented by J S Dhami, Principal. The festive day saw its culmination with the rendition of the National Anthem.
