JAMMU, Nov 4: Khalsa Cricket Club Jammu thrashed Gobind Cricket Club by a margin of 81 runs in the 2nd Sikh Premier league T-20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Khalsa Cricket Club at Baba Jhule Shah Ground, Camp Gole Gujral, here.
After winning the toss, KCC skipper Gurpreet Singh elected to bat first. Batting first, KCC scored a good total of 196 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Harpreet made 66 runs while Parvinder and Harinder scored 44 and 25 runs to help KCC to put a good score on board.
For GCC, Raman and Sukhvinder took 2 wickets each.
Chasing the target, Gobind Cricket Club managed to score 115 runs, thus lost the match by a big margin of 81runs.
Robin Singh scored 26 runs for his team, while Sukhvinder contributed 16 runs to the total.
From KCC, Harinder took 3 wickets, while  Gurpreet bagged 2 wickets.
Pardeep Dutta, Bureau Chief Times Now, J&K was the chief guest on the occasion.
Harpreet Singh was adjudged as man of the match for his performance.
Gagandeep and Prithpal were the umpires, while Davinder Singh maintained the scorebook.
