JAMMU, Dec 26: Prof RD Sharma, Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu today visited the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education to review the preparedness regarding the smooth conduct of the All India Inter-University Football and North Zone Inter-University Table Tennis Tournaments to be held from January 3, to January 7, 2018 and January 11 to January 15, 2018 respectively.
During the visit Prof Sharma discussed in detail all the issues related to the smooth conduct of the said tournaments by the University of Jammu with Prof Avtar Singh Jasrotia, Director Sports & Physical Education.
The Vice Chancellor also interacted with the players of the University of Jammu Hockey (M) team, which is to participate in the forthcoming North Zone Inter-University Hockey (M) Tournaments 2017-18 to be organized by the Punjab University Chandigarh from December 28, 2017 onwards.
Dr Neeraj Sharma, Special Secretry to the Vice Chancellor was also present on the occasion along with HS Chib (Retd.) Physical Director, Dr Brij Baloria, Ramesh Magotra, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Ravish Vaid, Gagan Kumar , Vikas Karlopia, Jai Bharat and PD Singh.
