KATHUA, Nov 30: Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua celebrated 2nd Annual Athletic Meet in the school sports ground with great zeal, here today.
Suleman Choudhary, SSP Kathua was the chief guest on the occasion, while Pardeep Manhas (RTO) Lakhanpur, was the guest of honour, Chairman Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua, Harpreet Singh Anand, Vice Chairperson Cum Principal of Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu, Rohini Aima and Principal Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua, Shuchita Gupta were present on the occasion.
The chief guest and other dignitaries were welcomed. A melodious welcome song was rendered by the school choir. The series of events began with the ceremonial torch ie Mashal Race by the house captains and sports captains followed by oath which was taken by the students.
Students of various classes competed class wise in event including three legged races, lemon and spoon race, rope skipping race, pastry race.
Various songs and dance performances were also performed by students to cheer up the athletes added to the enjoyment. Karate and speedball events were also performed by the students.
The chief guest, guest of honour and Principal Shuchita Gupta spoke on the occasion.
