J&K wins 2nd place in Underarm Cricket Nationals

JAMMU, Jan 18: Jammu and Kashmir boys team claimed 2nd place in the third National Underarm Cricket Championship, organized by Underarm Cricket Association of India at Vasco in Goa recently.
J&K team was represented by eight students of the Delhi Public School (DPS) Udhampur. Mannat Sharma student of class 8th was the skipper of the State team, while other members included  Danish (VII), Aryan (VIII),  Sanuj (VII), Ritvik (VII), Abhimanyu (VI), Varun (VI) and Aayush (V). For his brilliant performances, Mannat Sharma the Captain of the team has been selected in Indian Underarm Cricket team Championship that will be held later in Bhutan.
The Pro-Vice Chairman of DPS Udhampur, Dr JC Gupta lauded the efforts of the students for this achievement.
