JAMMU, Oct. 24: Jammu Rising Stars registered emphatic win over Jammu Vishal Stars by 27 runs and entered into the next stage of the ongoing Under-15 Diwali T-20 League, being organized by Vishal Club Jammu in collaboration with Jammu Police, at Parade ground, here today.
Batting first, Jammu Rising Stars scored 142 runs in stipulated 18 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Ayush Andotra was the highest scorer with 70 runs, while Shehzad made 22 runs and Kannav chipped in 13 runs.
For Jammu Vishal Stars side, Sachin and Surya shared one wicket each.
In reply, Jammu Vishal Stars could not chase the target in the stipulated overs and made 115 runs by losing all wickets. Arya Sachivansh was the top scorer with 30 runs while Surya and Shivansh made 21 runs each.
For Jammu Rising Stars side, Abhay and Kartik scalped 3 wickets each, while Praful Dhar took 2 wickets.
Ayush Andotra was declared as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain, Sandeep Manchanda, Sanjay Manchanda and Shugul.
In tomorrow’s fixture, MIER Academy will take on Singh Akhnoor Lions at same venue.
