JAMMU, Dec 15: Jammu District Taekwondo Championship was held at Bana Singh Stadium RS Pura here, in which more than 70 boys and girls in 9 weight categories participated.
Rohit Kumar, Lecturer in Bio Chemistry on behalf of Principal Government Higher Secondary School Janak Raj was the chief guest, while Dharam Pal Sharma Lecturer Sanskrit and Hans Raj Lecturer Political Science were also present on the occasion.
The championship was held under the overall supervision of Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer, J&K State Sports Council, Jammu.
The chief guest presented the medals to the first three position holders in each category.
Baljinder Pal Singh, Manager, Bana Singh Stadium, RS Pura, Jammu, Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Sports Complex, Iqbal Singh, Football Coach, Jagjeet Singh, Hockey Coach, Vikas Magotra, Swimming Coach and the staff of Bana Singh Stadium were also present.
