JAMMU, Dec 6: Heaven’s Angles–A Playway School and Heaven Kingdom High School celebrated Annual Day with great enthusiasm, thrill and fervour.
On the occasion, Speaker, Legislative Assembly and MLA Gandhi Nagar Kavinder Gupta was the chief guest, while Dr Farooq Ahmed Peer, Director Academics J&K Board was the guest of honour.
The programme commenced with lightening of the ceremonial lamp, followed by Shiv Vandana.
Children presented cultural items highlighting various themes including Swaach Bharat, Child Labour, aerobics, etc which were applauded by the audience with thundering applauses.
The toddlers stole the show with their well rehearsed and synchronized performances.
Principal Renu Sachdev in her speech highlighted the aims and objectives of the school, which is to put each child to the right path and embellish their behaviour with golden virtues and values. She also presented the annual report highlighting the achievements of the students during the current fiscal in the curricular and co-curricular activities.
Later, Speaker Kavinder Gupta gave away the prizes and cash awards to the meritorious students, who secured positions.
In the end, the vote of thanks was presented by Radhika Wali.
