JAMMU, Sept 2: Inter School, Zonal and District Level Tournaments in various disciplines, being organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports, were played at different venues.
JAMMU: Inter School Zonal Level Tournament in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Volleyball for under-19 boys of Jammu and Dansal Zone were played at GHSS Canal Road, here.
In Kho-Kho final, GHSS Jandrah smashed GHSS Sarwal by 3 points, whereas in Kabaddi final, SRML defeated DBN by 13 points. In Volleyball final, Kathar Manwal registered win over KC Public School by 2-0 points.

In under-14 group, Harsh Vardhan Singh of Jammu trounced Sanjeet Singh of Reasi in 32 kg category, whereas Sanjeet Singh of Reasi smashed Sunny Singh of Udhampur in 35 kg category, in 38 kg category, Adil Hussain of Doda trounced Shivam Singh of Kathua, in 41 kg category, Gurjeet Singh of Jammu smashed Maskeen Ali of Kathua, in 45 kg category, Khuda Baksh of Samba crushed Abay Shappar of Jammu, in 49 kg category, Bhag Ali of Kathua defeated Rohit Vagaan of Jammu, in 55 kg category, Raj Kumar of Jammu thrashed Mohd Kaif of Samba and in 60 kg category, Mushtaq Ahmed of Kathua was declared as winner.
In under-17 group, Kuldeep Singh of Reasi crushed Rohit Singh of Doda in 42 kg category, whereas in 46 kg category, Bhag Hussain of Kathua smashed Rajinder Singh of Udhampur, in 50 kg category, Parveen Kumar of Jammu crushed Murad Ali of Kathua, in 54 kg category, Benkzer Butto of Jammu defeated Ajay Kumar of Reasi, in 58 kg category, Shokat Ali of Kathua thrashed Mushtaq Ahmed of Samba, in 63 kg category, Sudam Hussain of Jammu crushed Jatin Gupta of Kathua, in 69 kg category, Mangal Singh of Reasi beat Sahil Farlia of Kathua, in 76 kg category, Sahil Sharma of Reasi trounced Rahul Chib of Kathua, in 85 kg category, Arjun Singh of Jammu emerged winner and in 100 kg category, Varun Partap Singh of Kathua was declared as winner.
