Ganga for inculcating scientific temperament among students

SAMBA, Feb 28: Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chander Parkash Ganga today called upon the teachers to inculcate scientific temperament among students for their bright future adding that schools need to emphasize analytical and critical thinking and develop a curriculum that teaches children skills, confidence building and boosting capability.
The Minister was speaking during Annual Day function of Rich Harvest School, Bari Brahmana.
The Minister while lauding the efforts of the school management said that this institute is imparting quality and value based education among students which helps them to excel in academics besides providing world class professional experience to make the students as global leaders.
Ganga asked the students to learn and experience cultural facets of our State, languages, arts, traditions and imbibing in them a deep cultural awareness besides love and respect for their heritage.
Managing Director of the school, Gambhir Singh threw light on the functioning and achievements of the institution and annual report was presented by the Principal of the school Anita Bhatia.
On the occasion, the students presented a Kaleidoscope of cultural items like Integrity item by Kindergarten, Patriotic Songs, Poetic Recitation, Krishan Leela, Role plays, enactment of Mangal Pandey etc.
Former Minister and President Dogra Sadar Sabha Thakur Gulchain Singh urged the students to contribute for upliftment of society by their active participation in the process of nation building.
