JAMMU, July 9: Game Changer XI Under-16 R S Pura Cricket Club defeated RN Chopra Cricket Academy by 3 wickets in the Summer Cup Under-16 40-Over league cricket tournament at Country Cricket Stadium, Gharota, near here.
Earlier, Game Changer XI RS Pura won the toss and elected to field first.
Put into bat, RN Chopra Cricket Academy scored 190 runs in the stipulated 40 overs, losing 8 wickets in the process. Shavik top scored with 72 runs , while Kanishk and Arya contributed 21 and 18 runs respectively. For Game Changer XI, Abhinav and Samarpreet took 2 wickets each, while Sachin, Achit and Aarav took one wicket each.
Chasing target, Game Changer XI reached the target in 35 overs by losing 7 wickets to win the match by 3 wickets. Promising Aarav top scored with 32 runs, while Samarpreet, Abhinav and Achit contributed 30, 27 and 23 runs respectively. For R N Chopra Cricket Academy, Satyam and Shavik took 2 wickets each.
