JAMMU, Oct 14: Athrot launched Kashir Kalakaar season-3 auditions at Sanjeevani Sharda Kendra, Bhori here today.
The event was judged by Dr Kuldeep Raina Swedeshi, a well known Music Director and Singer, while the event was presided over by Captain Mahraj Krishan Jotshi and Nandan Ji, President Sharda Mata Trust Bantalab was the guest of honour.
This year’s Kashir Kalakaar is being lead by Arvin Tickoo.
A good number of children thronged the venue to vie for the top honours.
The contestants were asked to sing a song in Kashmiri of their choices.
13 children qualified for next round, which included Shruti Raina (10), Anjali Pandita (8), Himanshu Pandita (10), Suhas Koul (8), Kashvi Sopori (9), Chhavi Koul (8), Riya Raina (12) Lavanya Koul (6), Nirmit Raina (8), Daksh Bhat (6), Shriya Bhat (7), Shireen Bhat (11) and Krishna Bhat (13).
Speaking on the occasion guests applauded the efforts of Athrot and appreciated parents for supporting children to take part in talent hunt events.
Captain Mahraj and Nandan ji congratulated Arvin Tickoo and Kanwal Peshin for organising the auditions in a decent manner to boost the morale of children.
Dr Kuldeep Raina Swedeshi gave tips to children and advised all participants to do regular practice and concentrate on Sur, Taal and Lai.
