Arun Malhotra bestows tips to footballers at Jodhamal

*Teaches youngsters techniques of smart football

JAMMU, Sept 17: J&K’s ace International Footballer Arun Kumar Malhotra bestowed soccer tips to the young footballers of Jodhamal Public School and taught them techniques of smart football in the school campus, here today.
Arun Malhotra has vast experience in the International Football right from LG Cup, Afro Asian Games, Asia Cup, Pre Olympic, Invitation matches at England, Uzbekistan and Thailand, besides President Cup, Asian Club Championship and Asian Cup at Indonesia.
While interacting with the young footballers, Arun threw light on the smart football and intelligent football which was earlier talked upon by the Menchester returned footballer of Jodhamal, Prerak Bist who is playing for Sharda University and aspires to be the Professional Footballer.
Students had a lot of queries on how to make football a career and how to go about learning smart football, Arun gave the answers to each one’s queries and told the kids that he belongs to Jammu but left for International Football around 19 years back and now he is playing for the ONGC and is posted at Dehradun like that of Virat Kohli and other players of repute who have been simultaneously employed in ONGC.
Principal Trilok Singh Bist said that such interactive sessions really help the students to satiate their queries and creates interest among students for games and sports besides academics.
Present on the occasion were Shefali Sanwal Vice Principal, Bharat Bhushan Sharma Administrative Officer, Sukomal Ganguly HoD Sports and Romesh Kumar School Football coach, who is doing a good job with the budding footballers.
The best part was the Girls Football Team which was initiated by Anjali Shah, Director PIFA Mumbai.
