JAMMU, Jan 9: To be organized by the Department of Transport, J&K Govt, under the overall supervision of Minister of State for Transport and Sports, Sunil Kumar Sharma, the 3rd New Year Masters T20 Cup will commence at Parade Ground, here tomorrow.
Media XI will lock horns with Senior Police XI in the inaugural match at 12:30 pm sharp.
The slogan of the Tournament is “Drive Carefully to Live Hapily”.
Apart from the Minister, the organizing committee of the tournament includes Vipul Pathak, Principal Secretary Transport/Road Safety Department, Vineeta Gupta, Transport Commissioner, Vikas Sharma, Joint Transport Commissioner, Ajay Singh Jamwal, Additional Transport Commissioner, Ashwani Khajuria, RTO Jammu, SSP RK Bhat, Rajesh Dhar and Coordinator Rajesh Gill, former Ranji Trophy player.
“Six teams will be taking part in this mega event. The teams include Media XI, Sr Police XI, Doordarshan XI, Parade Sports Association, Cantt Cricket Club and Singh Cricket Club Akhnoor,” informed Mr Gill.
