JAMMU, July 12: After its selection and screening by the Screening Committee of Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council, 18-member Athletic contingent comprising of 17 athletes and 1 manager cum coach left for Guntur to participate in 57th National Inter State Senior Athletics Championship scheduled to be held at Guntur in Andhra Pradesh from July15 to July 18, 2017.
The screening of the team was conducted by Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer Jammu, in presence of Ravinder Singh, General Secretary, J&K Athletics Association and Sarwant Singh Gill, Associate Secretary of the Association. Earlier, the team underwent 20 days special coaching camp under the Athletics coaches Sohan Singh and Sharat Chander Singh at M A stadium Jammu.
The team is being accompanied by Sharat Chander Singh, Athletics coach J&K Police as manager cum coach.
The team: Jai Kumar, Amit Singh, Randhir Singh, Abid Hussain, Daleep Sharma, Danish Yousaf, Amarjeet Singh, Shabaz Khan, Dalbir Singh, Sunil Chowdhary, Mandeep Singh, Reham Ali, Hamid Aziz, Adil Mustafa, Kusum Chib, Insha Wadoo and Jamila.
