KATRA, Sept 20: Holy Town Katra is all set to host 13th Mission Dosti International Indian Style Dangal as a part of Navratra Festival on September 24, 2017 at Shrine Board’s Sports Complex, here.
The event is being held under the auspices of Navratra Festival Committee in collaboration with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, J&K Tourism Department, J&K State Sports Council, J&K Police, Power Grid, NHPC, J&K Bank, Jamkash Vehicleades Pvt. Ltd., District Administration, CRPF, LIC, HDFC Bank, O.B.C Bank and Janta Katra.
Shiv Kumar Sharma Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India informed that main attraction of the dangal is participation of International Foreign Wrestlers namely Mykhailo Datsenko (Ukraine), Oleksandr Khotsianivskyi (Belarus), Hado (Georgia) and Coach Jaswinder Singh Rakhra (England).
He further said that National and International Wrestlers from Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Railway, J&K Police and J&K State have already confirmed their participation. Only invited Wrestlers will be participating in the event.
“This is an official competition and is organized under the norms of Indian Style Wrestling Association of India under the overall supervision of Mr Sharma and Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri),” organizers said.
Meanwhile, the wrestlers desirous to participate in the event can still submit their entries to Shiv Kumar Sharma (94191-61880 and 99069-72888).
