YSS Cup: IBDL competitions in full swing

Udhampur, Dec 23: Inter-Block District Level (IBDL) competitions of different disciplines for YSS Cup-2021, being organized by Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYS&S) are in full swing, here today.
The competitions are being held under the patronage of Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary, YS&S J&K and overall supervision of Director Gazanfar Ali and the event is conducted under the supervision of DYSSO Udhampur, Swaran Singh.
The competitions are scheduled on pool basis at Block headquarters Udhampur in the sports disciplines including  Kabaddi, Volleyball and Kho-Kho under the age group of 25 years both male and female wherein around 186 players participated from different blocks in the event.
In Volleyball, Block Ramnagar defeated Block Chenani by 2-1 sets, Majalta got better of Chanunta by 2-0 sets, Dudu trounced Panchari by 2-0 sets, Majalta defeated Ramnagar by 2-1 sets and Udhampur got better of Dudu by 2-0 sets, besides Udhampur trounced Majalta by 2-1 sets in the final.
In Kabaddi, Dudu defeated Panchari by 4 points, Chenani beat Majalta by 16 points, Chanunta trounced Ramnagar by 12 points and Chenani got better of Dudu by 26 points, besides Udhampur drubbed Chenani by 17 points in the final.
In Kho-Kho, Ramnagar defeated Ghordi by 11-02 points, while Udhampur beat Majalta by 9-3 points, Sewna defeated Ramnagar by 11-4 points and Sewna defeated Udhampur by 8-7 points in the finals.
