JAMMU, May 21: Heavy rains interrupted the finals of the month-long Ashiq Hussain Memorial Cricket Tournament, forcing the organisers to declare both the finalists YCC and LoC teams as the joint winners at Degree College ground, here today.
Vice Chancellor Sai Nath University, Lucknow, Shazad Malik, who hails from Poonch, was the chief guest on the occasion, who along with the other dignitaries distributed prizes among the joint winners on the occasion.
A cash prize of Rs 15, 000 was distributed among the teams by the chief guest on the occasion.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Additional SP Poonch, Masroor Mir, Additional DC, Gurvinder Jeet Singh, DySP DAR, Mohan Sharrma, DySP Operations, Saleem Bhat and Assistant Commandant, Prince Bharadwaj.
