JAMMU, June 12: Wrestler Jagroop of Amritsar, Punjab, outplayed wrestler Benia Min of J&K Police in the first malli bout and clinched title of 7th Annual Udhampur Kawa Kesari Dangal held at Government High School Kawa.
President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association Shiv Kumar Sharma was the chief guest, who awarded wrestler Jagroop and wrestler Benia in presence of Sarpanch Durga Dass Padha, Varinder Badyal, general secretary District Reasi Indian Style Wrestling Association, Naresh Kumar, Sub-Inspector Lakhbinder Singh and Naib Tehsildar Santokh Chand.
In the second bout, Ajay Sharma of Landen Power House Udhampur defeated Manna of Chandigarh. Cash awards were presented to both winner and runner-up.
