JAMMU, Jan 2: 1st winter camp of Yuvraj Singh Cricket Academy got underway at K.C Sports Club, under the supervision of senior coaches from Yuvraj Singh Cricket Academy, here.
58 budding cricketers from Jammu and Kashmir are participating in the camp to learn the basics as also the new skills.
The camp is being held under the supervision of Amar Singh, who was appointed as an official coach for BCCI in 2009 and is currently, the coach for Delhi U-19 State team.
The organizers informed that the enrollment of the camp is still on and the cricketers can avail the golden opportunity being offered.
The Camp is being organized inside the vast indoor Cricket auditorium of K.C Sports Club with Day and Night playing facility.
It is pertinent to mention here that under the leadership of Amar Singh, the Delhi U-19 team became the one-day champions of the North Zone in 2014. His unique and mature coaching skills and experience is what makes him a well known name in DDCA and one of the most experienced coaches at YSCE.
The other coach is Vivek Singh who, former Ranji Trophy cricketer and assistant coach of the J&K Ranji Team this season.
According to a handout issued here, Yuvraj Singh is likely to visit and interact with the budding cricketer in the month of February.
