JAMMU, Nov 30: The results of the Poster Making Competition on the theme of ‘Eat Right India’ held at Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu on Nov 28 as a part of in-transit ‘Swasth Bharat Yatra’, was declared today.
About 60 students of different educational institutions of Jammu had participated in the competition which was held in three categories-Amateurs’ Group, Senior’s Group and Sub-Senior’s Group. The whole function was led by Dr Parvesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner, Food Safety, Jammu Municipal Limits. Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA) collaborated the Department to conduct the competition.
The Jury was comprised of T S Batra, former Principal, Institute of Music & Fine Arts, Jammu and OP Sharma, Director JKCCA.
In Amateurs’ Group, 1st prize of Rs 1500 went to Diksha of GCW Parade, 2nd prize of Rs 1000 was won by Meemansa of GCW Gandhi Nagar and 3rd prize of Rs 700 went to Muskan Rajput of GCW Parade.
First prize of Rs 1200 in Seniors’ Group went to Navneet Kour of New National Higher Secondary School, Miran Sahib, 2nd prize of Rs 700 was bagged by Sakshi Sharma of K V No 1, Gandhi Nagar. Consolation prize of Rs 700 was given to New National Higher Secondary School, Miran Sahib and Consolation prizes of Rs 500 each went to Disha Raina and Anvi Choudhry of K V No 1, Jammu.
In Sub- Seniors’ Group, 1st prize of Rs 900 was bagged by Arushi Jasrotia of R M Public School and 2nd prize of Rs 700 won by Sukriti Uppal of R M Public School, Jammu. Consolation prizes of Rs 500 each were given to Soumiya Pathak of Sciatica International School, Jammu, Prabhjot Singh of New National High School, Jammu and Vanshika Dhiman of K M Public School, Jammu.
