Srinagar, Sept 17: The Police Martyrs Memorial Volleyball Tournament, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Police under the Civic Action Programme, concluded at Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Duderhama, Ganderbal. Five teams participated, with Boys Higher Secondary School Ganderbal defeating Boys Higher Secondary School Khurhama by 2-1 in the final to clinch the title.
SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal, who presided over the event, highlighted the importance of such tournaments in promoting police-public relations and encouraging youth to engage in positive activities. Cash prizes and trophies were awarded to the winners and runners-up. The event witnessed an enthusiastic turnout, including children and local youth. DySP Owaise Rashid, DySP DAR Nazir Ahmad and other senior officers were also present at the event.
