28th Annual Football C’ship

JAMMU, Mar 4: 28th Annual Football Championship got underway at GGM Science College Ground, here today.
Three matches were played wherein Vijay Club Jammu defeated DFA Udhampur by 2-0 goals, whereas the 2nd match was played between Sainik Colony FC and DFA Samba-XI FC. Both the teams exhibited quality Football in which DFA Samba XI beat Sainik Colony by 2-1 goals.
The third match of the tournament was played between Param FC and Jammu United FC wherein Param FC trounced Jammu United FC by 3-0 goals.
The teams were introduced by Mohamad Shafi Nari, former International Footballer, Gulzar Ahmad, president DFA Zone Pattan, Yousuf Don, former secretary DFA Jammu, Fayaz Ahmad Sofi and Bilal Punjabi.
