RAJOURI, Mar 4: Panorama Public School excelled in District Rajouri Yoga Championship by clinching overall championship, organised by District Rajouri Yoga Association at DPS Rajouri under the aegis of J&K Olympic Association, here today.
About 84 boys and girls participated in this championship.
In age group 8-10 years, Bibi Amana, Kiran Rawat and Ansh Singh stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, whereas in 10-12 years girls category, Anna Rashid, Damini Barwal and Misba Rashid bagged top three positions and in 10-12 boys, Irtaza Ali, Mohib-Ul-Hassan and Mohd Arbab clinched top three places respectively besides in 12-14 boys category, top three places were secured by Umer, Anubhav and Kartigya respectively and in 12-14 girls category, Sadna Aftab, Chahat Bamba and Mubashrya Khaliq stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, while Naman Kumar, Parun Narood and Ajaz clinched top three positions in 14-16 years age category.
President District Association, Sajad Tariq was the chief guest of the prize distribution ceremony who presented medals and certificates among the winners and participants, whereas Captain Tanwir Ahmed, joint secretary J&K Olympic Association was the guest of honour and Zohra Tariq MD, Deepak Kumar Principal DPS, Rukhsana Kouser cultural secretary and Anita Thakur were also present during the event.
The championship was organised under the supervision of Sahil Raina, general secretary of the District Association.
